Daniel Rao-Gynn is a street photographer based in London
I've been taking and collecting photographs in various forms since 2015, as a way to document the things I see and experience. At the moment, I'm mostly shooting street and travel photography on 28mm digital, using the Leica Q2.

India, vol. 1
A selection of images celebrating the colour and chaos of India, centred around a trip to Bangalore and Mysore in late 2025.

W12
A quieter, hyperlocal exploration of this vibrant and bustling, yet seemingly overlooked, London borough.

New York in Colour (2024)
A series of 100 photographs, using the distinctive colours and shapes of the city to capture the feeling of the New York streets. Inspired heavily by the works of Ernst Haas and Saul Leiter.

Lunar New Year ‘26
Frames from the Year of the Fire Horse celebrations in Central London, Lunar New Year 2026.

The Drop
The kids are (not) alright. Frames from a chaotic afternoon in Soho Square.

Mysore
Frames from a visit to Devaraja Market and a hike up Chamundi Hill in Mysore, India.

Collected Photographs (2025)
This collection brings together photographs made across the past year. More than a record of output, it reflects a year of personal transition — a quieter, more deliberate way of seeing, shaped by changing perspectives and a renewed commitment to the craft.

Collected Photographs (2024)
As I look back at the many photographs I’ve taken over the last year, days away from becoming a father for the first time, it hits me that my priorities are a shifting force.

Collected Photographs (2023)
Welcome to Collected Photographs: 2023, the first self-published collection of my personal photography.
