Over the past twelve months, I have been learning how to be a father, which has meant spending less time on the streets with my camera. Despite these limitations, I feel I’ve become more focused and productive with the time I do have, and have actually increased the number of strong photographs I’ve made compared to previous years.
A significant moment this year was my involvement in the Still in Street seasonal exhibition series, curated by Mark Luke Grant and shown primarily at Float in East London. Being included in all four editions, and working closely with Mark on the selection of my images, offered both affirmation and valuable feedback around my work.
Alongside this, I continued to explore new ways of working and sharing. After experimenting with a community-based selection process, I self-published W12 as a short-run zine. I was also fortunate to attend workshops in London with Greg Mo, and in Cambridge with Matt Hall (the13thsecond) and Craig Whitehead (sixstreetunder), each of which helped refine how I think about sequencing, intention, and authorship. An extended trip to India in the autumn marked the beginning of what I hope will become a long-term project.
This collection brings together photographs made across these experiences. More than a record of output, it reflects a year of personal transition — a quieter, more deliberate way of seeing, shaped by changing perspectives and a renewed commitment to the craft.
