Not all areas of London are photographed equally. The neighbourhoods to the west of the city are, some might argue with reasonable justification, not as widely covered by street photographers as East or Central London.
W12 is a quieter, hyperlocal exploration of this vibrant and bustling, yet seemingly overlooked, London borough. The following 50 colour photographs, all captured within the boundaries of W12, represent nearly two years of pausing to observe what was happening on these local streets.
From the independent multicultural street food and textile market traders, to the sprawling shopping centres, this project documents the rich diversity of community and architecture that this postcode, and London itself, has to offer.
